Button Symbol Onload Problem

Please help me to understand why, when my Web page is firstloaded, the slice path for my buttons (they are lined upvertically) creates a white box down the path before the actualimage slices are loaded. Then, eventually as the buttons show upone by one down the path, the Web page is rendered to look the sameas the image is in Fireworks. What am I doing wrong? Canvas (it'stranparent)? Behavior (OnMouseOver)? Active area?
