In IE, it stretches the picture across the page. (

I thought it was the way I'd structured the tables, but have
checked those and can't find the problem. I also thought it might
be in the picture width and height, but changed those and still got
the problem. I posted that at
http://www.smsvb.net/school/index2.html.
I've done the browser compatibility check and dreamweaver only
found a few problems in the spry menu bar (which doesn't display
correctly in IE, either, but that's at least legible). I ''fixed''
all the ''errors'' in the menu bar css except one that was necessary
(.em; about half way down). I wouldn't think the spry menu bar
would be causing the problem, but the problem disappears, it seems,
when I remove the menu bar -

As I know next to nothing about this code, can someone please takea
look. It's my work's web page and rather embarrassing to have it
display so poorly. I've posted the chunks of code I changed at
http://www.smsvbnet/school/changes.rft
and the spry css is at

- thanks to anyone for looking at thisie bug???
Get rid of the layout tables and just insert plain tables on
your pages. They are expanding the pages way too much. I think that
is causing your problem.
If you are looking for some fixes to the Spry Menus make sure
you are using the latest version of Spry (if you haven't updated
this before there is a 100% chance you are not using the latest
version). You can go here for the update:
http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/
Also for future references if you could break up your
paragraph just a bit it would be easier to read, and when posting
online be sure to include a space after any web address otherwise
the following character will be included in the address.ie bug???
It's worth fixing some of the 99 errors here too...

I'm not exactly sure what you mean here. I'm not sure how to
get the look of the page I want without all the tables.
On another note, I updated the Spry Menu and it overwrote all
my colors and other customizations. As it took me a while to figure
out how to get them to work the first time, it'll take me a bit of
time to get those back. Until I get the menu working again, I can't
look at the tables anyway.
Thanks for your help,
MG2
After starting from scratch with the menu, I think updating
to the latest version of spry (from 1.4 to 1.6) fixed the problem,
as suggested by SnakEyez02. I never did change the table layout but
with the new version, I don't have the same IE problems. That said,
I never could get the menu to look exactly the same as before, but
pretty close.
