Tom Muck's Dynamic Search Suite

I need to be able to have a text field open search (a la
Google) that will

search several fields in a MySQL database and return the
results (using

PHP). Tom Muck's Dynamic Search Suite looks like it will do
just what I

want. Any recommendations in favor, warnings against, or
other extension

recommendations to do this?

Tom Muck's Dynamic Search Suite
I don't have any experience with this particular extension .
.but I have

never found anything written by Tom to fail. I would
recommend it based on

what I have used of his extensions.

Thanks. I've used his extensions in the past, including this
one a l-o-o-ong

time ago in ASP. Don't ask. I have no real qualms about using
it, I was more

interested I guess in other extensions that were available to
do the same

thing as a comparison.

I've had good luck with his extensions too. I guess I was
more looking for

either a specific recommendation on this one or to find out
if anyone knew

of alternatives to look at first.
