Did I just delete my site?

I'm new to php and testing it locally. I set up Apache to
test some php, and wanted to modify the server information for my
site in the Site %26gt; Manage Sites. I decided to recreate the site
rather than to modify whatever settings I had. I chose to delete
the site from the list, and Dreamweaver went and deleted all the
files from the folder I had them in. Can I get those back somehow?
There's no Undo Site delete command to my knowledge.Did I just delete my site?

AFAIK, this will only happen if you had defined the site as
an RDS

connection. The files would still be on your remote server.

I suggest you set up a 'real' site with a Local Site Folder.
choose FTP as

the connection method instead of RDS. Then enter the remote
info, and Get

the remote files

You may have lost your settings, but I doubt your files.
There should have been a popup window when you deleted you site
saying: You cannot undo this action. Delete the selected site?

The only way to remove your files is to physically delete
them from the computer.

Just recreate the site as normal and point to the directory
where your files are at. It will recreate that list of files in
Dreamweaver, but you will have to define your remote and testing
server locations.

Good luck.
